Whether you’re already signed up to a plan, baffled by the choices or simply don’t quite know where to start with NBN, one fact remains: all Aussie broadband consumers will eventually have to give NBN some brain space in the coming year.

“Every householder in Australia has to realise the NBN is the new way of getting phone and internet into your home,” Technology expert Trevor Long told  Nine News.

Why bother to leave this on the site when the quiz and any useful information to be gained from it has disappeared? Jennifer

At present we have a house phone connecting together with computer with Optus and two mobiles wit Amasim. We have a clue to NBN so can you guide us please? All the negative comments have put us off trying to join. Thank you. Gordon

We are with Southern Phones NBN and land line plus mobile phone. We pay an average of $99 per month for the 3, but we are very dis satisfied with the NBN. We get at least 2 drop outs a day which in turn you loose you Home phone. Southern Phones was a great company when only dealing with home phones but now lower than average. When the contract expires in December we are thing of switching to the old faithful Telstra . Can you please advise if this is a good move as we are fed up with drop offs especially half way through a conversion and the phone cuts out.

We experienced our landline calls cut off at 20 minutes or less after switching to NBN. For months we argued with our provider. It would seem our telephone was not NBN compatible. We bought the new handsfree phones that were NBN recognized, and now we can talk for hours. Hope this helps?

Following the quiz the basic NBN 12 plan is the one recommended to me. I am also advised connection will be between January and June 2019 so have time to keep thinking about issues. Would appreciate any advice offered. Currently I am with Telstra with land line, internet and mobile bundle costing on average about $120 month. Also have FOX connected. When the NBN comes will I have to combine FOX with which ever provider I select. Regards Don . .
